TextureGen User Guide

Everything you need to know to go from prompt to downloadable DDS texture sets, stay within your plan limits, and share your work with the community.

Getting Started

  • 1. Create an account. Register on the sign-up page and confirm you can sign in.
  • 2. Add a prompt. Think of a short, descriptive sentence (e.g., “cracked asphalt with yellow paint”) and enter it in the generator.
  • 3. Generate. Click generate and wait 10–30 seconds. We produce Color, Normal, and Roughness maps automatically.
  • 4. Download. Save any map as PNG or DDS, or grab the full ZIP bundle containing all formats.

Plan Overview

  • Free Trial: 3 days long with a maximum of 6 generations. Perfect for testing the pipeline.
  • Starter ($5/month): 50 generations per month. Browse the community feed is locked, but all downloads remain available.
  • Pro ($10/month): Unlimited generations plus full community feed access (view, download, react, comment, share).

Upgrading Your Plan

Upgrades are handled manually to keep things flexible. Follow these steps when you’re ready for Starter or Pro access:

  1. Submit payment: Pay Here!
  2. Open a Discord ticket: Contact us on Discord with your payment name/email.
  3. We upgrade you: An admin runs the upgrade script and confirms when your access changes.
  4. Sign out/in: Log out and back in so your session shows the new plan.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long are textures stored?

Generated textures remain available for 7 days. You can re-download the PNG, DDS, or bundle anytime during that window.

What happens after my 3-day trial?

Once the trial ends you can still sign in and download any textures you created, but you need Starter or Pro access to generate new ones.

How do I upgrade to Starter or Pro?

Complete payment and open a ticket on Discord so an admin can activate your plan.

What are the generation limits?

Free trial users receive 6 generations total. Starter users get 50 generations per month. Pro users enjoy unlimited generations.

Who can use the Community Feed?

The Pro plan unlocks the community feed. Pro users can browse, download, react, comment, and share their own textures.

Can I download textures as DDS?

Yes. Each map (Color, Normal, Roughness) can be downloaded individually as PNG or DDS, and you can grab everything in one ZIP bundle.

Do I need to keep my browser open during generation?

No. You can navigate away, but stay signed in. We’ll save the texture to your account once it’s finished.
